Delyth & Angharad: Mother and daughter folk duo from Swansea.

There is an undeniable chemistry between these two musicians, and no wonder as they are mother and daughter.

Delyth Jenkins, who plays the Celtic harp, was a founding member of the pioneering instrumental trio Aberjaber and also has a successful career as a soloist.

Angharad Jenkins plays fiddle with the Welsh folk group Calan which has burst onto the Welsh folk scene like a breath of fresh air.

Following numerous invitations to perform together at festivals and cultural centres across South Wales, Delyth and Angharad decided to form a duo, and from the start they have been affectionately known as DnA. Their first album, Adnabod, received excellent reviews. Their new album, Llinyn Arian, features a mixture of well know and unfamiliar Welsh traditional tunes in addition to original compositions written and inspired by Delyth and Angharad’s personal trips over the past few years. Their music magically combines tradition and innovation.

Interests: Good food. Wine. Fresh air. The sea. Laughing.
