West Wales based fiddle player, tutor and workshop leader Holly Robinson has 30 years’ experience as a performing musician.
Having played in dance bands and folk groups in her spare time since her school years, Holly took up music full time in 2016 and now works with a range of bands and duos and as a fiddle tutor.
She regularly collaborates with harpist, singer-songwriter, caller and dance tutor Jess Ward offering music for events, concerts, dances, workshops, festivals and more.
Bands include ceilidh/twmpath/dance bands Triskellion, and Off the Cuff, Welsh folk tune specialists Estron (with renowned Welsh bagpipe maker/player John Tose), and folk bands Quarto and Hounds of the Sea.
In addition to music, Holly also offers a range of media/PR and copywriting services. 
With vast experience to draw on, Holly is a former journalist and worked in regional press for nearly 20 years. She spent 15 years in senior news management positions in England and Wales. She was editor of the Western Telegraph, Wales Farmer, Tivy-Side Advertiser, and Bridport & Lyme Regis News among others and was deputy editor of the Bucks Free Press before moving to Pembrokeshire.
She is available for press releases, copywriting, website content, proofreading, campaign planning/advice/support, social media support, blogs, DIY media training, newsletters and more.
Holly’s main areas of interest include traditional music and tunes of the British Isles and beyond, community development, music therapy applications (she is studying part-time for a Masters in Music Therapy), and morris dancing.
