Linda Griffiths hails from Montgomeryshire, an area steeped in the traditional music of Wales, and Linda’s roots are firmly anchored in that tradition. But as a singer she has not been content to accept the tradition passively, but has drawn on it to create songs which are of today, relevant and evocative at the same time. She sings traditional songs and new compositions by some of Wales’ best contemporary songwriters and lyric writers.
